U.S. House Republican leadership has declared 14–18 July “Crypto Week,” scheduling floor action on three pieces of digital-asset legislation. According to a notice from Financial Services Chairman French Hill and Agriculture Chairman Glenn “GT” Thompson, lawmakers will vote on the GENIUS Act, the CLARITY Act and the Anti-CBDC Surveillance State Act during the five-day period.

The designation gives the measures—each aimed at defining federal policy for cryptocurrencies and central-bank digital currencies—priority consideration before Congress leaves for its summer recess. Speaker Mike Johnson and Majority Leader Steve Scalise endorsed the timetable, signaling that the House’s Republican majority wants to advance a coordinated regulatory framework for the sector.
