U.S. Proposes 50-Day Gaza Ceasefire Until April 20 for 5 Live, 9 Deceased Hostages

U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff has presented a new proposal to extend the Gaza ceasefire by 50 days, until April 20, in exchange for the release of hostages by Hamas. Mediators from Qatar and Egypt met with Hamas officials in Doha to present the updated U.S. proposal, and they are now awaiting Hamas's response. The proposal marks a shift from previous offers, focusing on extending the ceasefire past Ramadan and Passover to prevent renewed conflict during these periods.
