Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky highlighted the international components found in Russian missiles used in attacks against Ukraine, underscoring the insufficiency of global sanctions against Russia. In a series of statements, Zelensky pointed out that missiles, including the Kh-101 and Kinzhal, contain parts produced by companies from countries other than Russia, with the Kh-101 missile alone having at least 53 types of such components, and the Kinzhal at least 49. This revelation comes after a recent attack on Kyiv on March 21, where the missiles were found to contain an estimated 1,500 foreign-made parts. Zelensky's remarks aim to draw attention to the indirect support the Kremlin receives through these components and call for a reassessment of the sanctions regime against Putin's government.
