In the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia, Ukrainian forces have been using FPV drones to attack Russian positions. The 116th and 47th Mechanized Brigades, along with the ACHILLES unit of the 92nd Assault Brigade, have employed FPV drones to target Russian vehicles, dugouts, firing positions, and tanks near Avdiivka and Tsarska Okhota. The drones have been successful in hitting Russian vehicles and disabling a T-62 tank, causing the crew to flee. Additionally, a Russian Mavic copter was shot down by a Ukrainian kamikaze FPV drone in the Zaporozhye region. The outcome of the counterattacks and strikes remains unclear.
