In a series of coordinated efforts, Ukrainian authorities and organizations have successfully returned a total of 19 children, including two 15-year-old teenage boys who had been registered by Russia for military service, from Russian-occupied territories. The children were rescued from Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, and various teams, during their 17th mission, dedicated to saving children from occupation zones played pivotal roles in these operations. The missions faced significant challenges due to the hostile environment created by the occupying forces.
