Ukrainian drones carried out a series of successful attacks on Russian oil and gas infrastructure, causing significant fires and damage. The strikes targeted facilities in the Bryansk region, St. Petersburg, and the Leningrad Oblast, including a major Russian oil depot and Novatek's Baltic Sea terminal, which halted operations. These attacks, which extended deep into Russian territory, marked a new phase in Ukraine's military strategy. In addition to the infrastructure strikes, Ukrainian forces killed 730 Russians and destroyed 13 tanks in a day. Ukraine also successfully deployed the FrankenSAM hybrid air defense system, shooting down a Kh-59 missile and destroying a BMP-3. Two S-300 missiles were launched from the Belgorod region at Kharkiv Oblast, and a drone was intercepted near Moscow. Ukrainian air defenses also successfully downed a number of Russian Shahed drones launched against Ukraine, demonstrating a robust defense capability against aerial threats.
