The Russian military is attempting to capture the village of Synkivka in Ukraine's Kharkiv Oblast to prepare for a blockade of the city of Kupiansk, according to reports from the Commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky. The commander stated that Russia is deploying well-trained reserves to Ukraine's northeast and that Russian losses in eastern Ukraine are eight times greater than Ukrainian losses. Additionally, Russian marines are reportedly arriving in Bahmut to block the Ukrainian army. Russia's FSB also claimed to have detained 18 'Ukrainian agents' in Crimea this year.
