Russian forces have been reported to be shooting civilians in the temporarily occupied town of Vovchansk, located in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The town, which had a pre-war population of approximately 18,000, has been heavily attacked, resulting in numerous civilian casualties. Horrific footage shows bodies lying in the streets, extensive fires, and widespread destruction of homes. According to Oleksii Kharkivskyi, the police chief of Vovchansk, there have been several incidents of civilian shootings, and investigations are ongoing. Russian forces are reportedly demolishing the town, which was home to some 17,000 people, to create a 'sanitary zone,' rendering it a depopulated wasteland. π· by Kostiantyn & Vlada Liberov.
