A Russian military court has sentenced a teacher to 20 years in prison on charges of high treason for sending money to Ukraine, after being reported by colleagues. In another case, a Saint Petersburg woman, Elena Komaricheva, received a 10-year prison sentence for allegedly attempting to burn down a military enlistment office. Additionally, a 15-year-old child, Arseny Turbin, was sentenced to 5 years in prison and sent to Moscow SIZO-5 for distributing leaflets critical of President Putin, becoming the youngest political prisoner in Russia's modern history according to the Memorial Foundation. A Ukrainian woman was also sentenced to 12 years in prison for releasing opposition-colored balloons over Moscow.
