Ukrainian Special Operations Forces have executed 'Operation Citadel' in the Black Sea, targeting a Russian radar station on an extraction platform near Crimea. The mission resulted in the destruction of the radar station and the capture of Russian communications and electronic warfare equipment. This platform was used to enhance the operation of Iranian-made drones, including the Shahed-238 (M237) kamikaze jet UAV and the long-range Shahed drone. The operation also disrupted Iran's increasing use of kamikaze drones, which are likened to cruise missiles and are harder to detect on radar.
