Several reports have emerged about the return of children from conflict-affected areas to Ukraine. A 17-year-old Palestinian boy, who was released from Israeli prison during a truce agreement, spent 30 days in solitary confinement and attempted suicide. Additionally, a 12-year-old girl from the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region died after 'rehabilitation' in Tyumen, Russia, and more than 100 other schoolchildren were hospitalized. Another 17-year-old boy and a 12-year-old boy were returned to Ukraine from Russia after being under Russian control for significant periods of time. The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights and the human rights ombudsman, Dmytro Lubinets, reported these returns.
