The final resting place of a U.S. Navy submarine that sank the most Japanese warships in World War II has been discovered more than 80 years after it sank. The submarine was lost in battle in 1944 and remained undiscovered for decades. It was found 3,000 feet beneath the ocean, making it the only nuclear-powered submarine to have sunk an enemy vessel.
