Multiple incidents of high-speed chases involving alleged migrant smugglers have occurred recently in different states. In Texas, Diego Perez De Paz from Guatemala was arrested after reaching speeds of 120mph and crashing into vehicles. Cesar Flavio Lanuza is being held without bond in Maryland for a chaotic chase on February 16. Another man in Texas was arrested for allegedly smuggling 6 migrants in his truck.
