Federal authorities have made significant drug and weapons seizures in recent operations. In San Francisco, a drug dealer was arrested with over 1,700 grams of fentanyl. At the Texas-Mexico border, federal agents seized 12 pounds of heroin from a passenger vehicle. Additionally, CBP officers at the Progreso International Bridge confiscated 67 weapons, 69 magazines, and 33 rounds of ammunition hidden in a vehicle. In another incident, detectives found about one pound of suspected fentanyl and 11 pounds of suspected methamphetamine during a vehicle search. Furthermore, four men were charged in federal court after investigators seized more than 75 kilograms of cocaine, 90,000 doses of fentanyl, and several guns following a series of search warrants.
