Wellington Access Ventures (WAV), led by four Black investors, has raised $150 million to support underrepresented founders. WAV aims to provide early-stage startups with funding ranging from $1 million to $6 million, as well as access to Wellington's extensive network. In a similar vein, Ctrl Alt, founded by an ex-Morgan Stanley trader, has secured $2.7 million in funding for its alternative asset investment tools. Another startup, RuralNet, has raised $2.2 million in a seed round led by Kickstart Ventures.
