Ubisoft has secured the exclusive worldwide streaming rights to major franchises like Call of Duty from Activision Blizzard. The deal comes as a result of Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which led to Microsoft relinquishing the cloud-gaming rights for Activision Blizzard games outside of Europe. Ubisoft's control over where these games show up in the cloud outside of the EU will last for the next 15 years. This newly closed cloud streaming deal between Ubisoft and Activision Blizzard means that Ubisoft+ subscribers will have access to popular titles from Activision Blizzard. The details of the deal were explained by The Verge and Tom Warren in their respective articles.
