Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta version 12 (V12) has garnered attention for its performance improvements over version 11 (V11). Despite initial observations that FSD V12's internal occupancy network may not be as refined, it is anticipated to surpass V11 with future updates. FSD V12 employs Tesla's Dojo supercomputer to combat bugs, enhancing its functionality. Comparative tests on identical routes revealed that FSD V12, specifically versions 12.1.2 and 11.4.9, is more assertive and efficient, completing a 26-minute drive through San Francisco traffic 40 seconds faster than V11 with only one takeover. The system can now interpret 'keep clear' road markings. A major expansion is on the horizon as FSD Beta is slated to come to Europe from January 2025, following the GRVA's approval of the first iteration of the DCAS regulations, signaling a significant advancement in Tesla's FSD technology rollout.
Holy shit!!!!! Ran errands today on FSD beta, ZERO DISENGAGEMENTS THE ENTIRE DAY! Thatβs a first for me. Itβs acting very humanlike. It was breaking for a yellow, then decided it was going too fast to stop so it gunned it on through.π€― I cannot wait for V12!!!!
BREAKING: FSD is coming to Europe " This past week, the GRVA approved the first iteration of the DCAS regulations. This is a big step forward, as it means FSD beta is finally expanding beyond North America to countries under the UNECE regulations.β

I canβt wait to see Europeans jaws fall to the floor when they go from legacy autopilot to FSD Beta 12

Round 2 of FSD Beta 12 vs 11: 26 minute drive through San Francisco traffic FSD 12 had 1 takeover (trying to go around cars at stop sign), but FSD Beta 11 finished the drive with 0 takeovers. 12 started behind but finished 40 seconds ahead Watch in 4k: https://t.co/u65je3I6Kx https://t.co/vyn4la2n4U
This is insane.π€― V 12 is so assertive like a human! I love how it overtook the car wanting to take cuts. π This clearly is the breakthrough weβve been waiting for. https://t.co/NJ3zKM9Hf0
Raw footage of V11 vs V12 doing the same routes. I must have overrode the accelerator a dozen times to get through dense areas and V12 still arrived first in both drives by a large margin. Will make a video summarizing and showing highlights soon! https://t.co/KyDlvruQEt
The next step for FSD Beta 12 will be to go out to early access program testers nationwide. After that, maybe some gradual expansion and then wide release to all.
FSD V12 fixes bugs not with manual programming, but by fighting them in the Dojo https://t.co/uYbWSwe8G1
That's it, I'ma fly to San Francisco to try FSD V12 if it doesn't come to my car. https://t.co/njEHqf8wWY
Based on my drives with @AIDRIVR yesterday, it appears that FSD 12βs internal occupancy network is not yet quite as refined as V11βs occupancy network I expect this to continue to improve and exceed the traditional occupancy network with future updates
