Scientists have made surprising discoveries in Antarctica, including blind cave salamanders called olms venturing to the surface from their caves. The salamanders, once believed to be baby dragons, were found exploring aboveground springs. Additionally, a construction worker unearthed a mysterious 1,800-year-old statue while a man discovered a huge bone sticking out of the ground. Researchers also found a strange, ultra-low-frequency sound in the most remote point on Earth.
