Samsung's T9 Portable SSD: Blazing Speeds and SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps Make It Ideal for Content Creators

Samsung has released the T9 Portable SSD, which offers blazing throughput speeds when connected to a compatible PC, making it a popular choice for content creators. The T9 is twice as fast as its predecessor, the T7, and features a USB 3.2 Gen2x2 interface with speeds up to 2,000 MB/s. It is the first SSD from Samsung to have this interface. The T9 is also the first to bring SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps performance to the table, nearly doubling the sustained throughput of the older T7. The drive uses the SamsungDSGlobal Pablo SSD controller and an ASMedia USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 bridge chip. The T9 is available in a 4TB SKU and is being touted as one of the best external hard drives for gaming and content creation.
