The video game Remnant 2 is set to release an expansion called The Awakened King, which will allow players to invite friends who don't own the DLC to join the game. However, those friends will not be able to use the expansion's gear. The expansion will not require a second copy to play with a friend. The debut expansion will feature returning locations but not returning classes.
