Nintendo has reported a 4.4% increase in net sales reaching $11 billion for the fiscal year, with profits rising by 7.8% to $6.2 billion. Despite these gains, the company forecasts a 20% decline in net sales to $8.7 billion for the next fiscal year. The Nintendo Switch continues to perform strongly in its market, with sales projections set at 13.5 million units this fiscal year, nearing the total lifetime sales of the Wii U at 13.56 million. The Switch, currently at 141 million units sold, is expected to surpass the PlayStation 2's record of 155 million units and the Nintendo DS to become the best-selling console of all time. Notable successes include 31 million-seller titles such as Zelda, which sold 20.6 million units, and Mario Wonder with 13.4 million units.
