Microsoft has announced layoffs that will impact several of its gaming studios, including the teams behind popular franchises such as Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, and Call of Duty. Specifically, 86 employees at the Skylanders studio Toys for Bob are affected. Other affected studios include Sledgehammer Games and Infinity Ward. Additionally, more than a hundred workers at a Los Altos-based company within the gaming industry are facing job cuts. Microsoft has yet to release a statement on the job cuts at Call of Duty maker.
