Microsoft Adds OpenAI's DALL-E 3 AI Image Generator to Bing Chat, Expanding Access to Text-to-Image Technology

Microsoft has announced that it is adding the DALL-E 3 AI image generator to Bing Chat. This means that users can now use DALL-E 3 for free in both Bing Chat and Bing Image Creator. Paying customers of ChatGPT will have access to DALL-E 3 later this month. OpenAI's DALL-E 3 is being deployed in ChatGPT and Bing Image Creator to prevent the creation of harmful or offensive images. Bing Image Creator has been available since March 2023, but the latest version is allowing creators to make super realistic images. Normally, a ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise account would be required to use DALL-E 3 directly. However, Microsoft is now making it available to all Bing Chat users. This upgrade is seen as a major improvement for Bing Chat, as it gives users access to the text-to-image generator.
