Meta Platforms Inc, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook, is testing a new invite-only holiday bonus program for creators on Instagram in the United States, South Korea, and Japan. The program will reward creators based on the performance of their Reels and photos. Additionally, Meta Platforms is adding more ways for followers to subscribe to creators via Reels and Stories. Meta Platforms also announced that there are now 1 million active subscriptions to Instagram creators, just over a year after launching the feature. They have also unveiled new creator tools, including a Reels A/B testing tool for creators to experiment with different captions and thumbnails on their content.
