The Indian government is set to engage with founders of startups and senior executives from Google India to address the issue of several Indian apps being delisted from Google's Play Store, an 'Issue of concern...' as stated by Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar in an EXCLUSIVE hint at potential larger actions. A meeting is scheduled for Monday to hear the views of the affected parties and seek a resolution. In the meantime, Google has restored all Indian apps that were delisted on March 1 due to non-compliance with Play Store billing policies, ahead of its meeting with IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw. The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) has criticized the delisting of Indian apps as unfair and disproportionate, even as some apps have begun complying with Google's billing norms to return to the Play Store. IAMAI expresses concerns over the ongoing dispute, highlighting that the fight between Indian internet firms and Google is far from over.

Google is unlikely to budge in the India Play Store saga. At best, they might provide some extension if the government pushes it to. There is no short-term solution for some of the companies fighting Google. They have too many apps that need distribution.
