The FBI and cybersecurity experts have issued warnings about ransomware groups using emerging initial access techniques to target organizations. The Silent Ransom Group orchestrated a callback phishing scam to gain access to targeted organizations. Additionally, a vulnerability in SysAid IT support software is being exploited by cybercriminals to deploy Clop ransomware in limited attacks. Microsoft has also warned about the MOVEit gang targeting SysAid customers with zero-day attacks.
