Disney+ is implementing new password-sharing restrictions for Canadian subscribers starting on November 1. The company will crack down on password-sharing and reserves the right to terminate violators' accounts. Sharing passwords outside of the household will be explicitly against Disney Plus's policies. The crackdown is expected to expand to other regions next year. Disney+ will analyze the use of accounts to block password sharing and limit usage to a single household. The new rules aim to prevent a significant amount of password sharing and require users to pay for their own access.
