Daimler Truck plans to introduce driverless semi trucks in 2027. The trucks will feature autonomous driving technology and zero-emissions battery-powered Freightliner eCascadia, combining the best of both worlds. The company will conduct runs between Laredo and Dallas in Texas first, addressing future markets for driverless trucks and emission realities.
