Cloudflare, a cybersecurity company, has reported a record-breaking distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack that exploited a flaw in HTTP/2 Rapid Reset. The attack exceeded 100 million requests per second (rps) and resulted in a 65% increase in DDoS attacks in Q3. Cloudflare aims to eliminate DDoS attacks but acknowledges that they are still prevalent, with attacks getting bigger.
