Invesco, Galaxy Register Solana ETF in Delaware as Fidelity, Grayscale, Others Update SEC Filings

Invesco Ltd. and Galaxy Digital on Friday registered the “Invesco Galaxy Solana ETF” with the Delaware Division of Corporations, taking an initial procedural step toward launching what would be one of the first U.S. exchange-traded funds offering direct exposure to the Solana token. Invesco manages about $1.8 trillion in assets.

Within hours of the Delaware filing, a wave of asset managers—including Grayscale Investments, Bitwise Asset Management, Fidelity Investments, Franklin Templeton and VanEck—submitted amended S-1 registration statements to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for their own spot Solana ETFs. Fidelity’s update disclosed a proposed ticker symbol “SOEZ,” while VanEck’s revision added a staking component.

The updated prospectuses address the SEC’s recent requests for clearer language on in-kind redemptions and staking practices, signaling that discussions with regulators are advancing. Bloomberg has previously reported that the agency could rule on the pending Solana ETF applications earlier than expected, raising industry expectations that the digital-asset funds may receive a decision in the coming months.
