Bitcoin ETFs Shed $342 Million Then Rebound With $770 Million Weekly Inflow

US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds recorded their first setback in more than two weeks on Tuesday, 1 July, posting a combined $342 million in net outflows. The withdrawal snapped a 15-day run of net inflows that had attracted about $4.7 billion to the products.

Investor appetite returned the following day. Data for Wednesday, 2 July, show the funds pulled in a net $408 million, led by Fidelity’s FBTC with a $184 million contribution. By week’s end, the vehicles had added a net 7,100 bitcoin—valued at roughly $769.5 million—highlighting the volatility of institutional sentiment toward the asset class.

Flows into Ethereum-linked products were mixed. Spot Ether ETFs suffered a modest $1.82 million net outflow on 2 July, driven in part by a $46.88 million withdrawal from BlackRock’s offering, but finished the week with $219.1 million in net additions. Beyond ETFs, about $10 billion in fresh liquidity has entered the broader Ethereum ecosystem over the past month, underscoring sustained interest in the network’s layer-1 and layer-2 projects.
