During the Tennessee vs. Mizzou game, Joe Milton fumbled, but later made a 47-yard pass to Dont'e Thornton Jr., resulting in a touchdown. However, Thornton was injured during the play and had to leave the game. Despite the injury, it was described as an incredible throw and catch. Tennessee's touchdown put them ahead 7-3 in the second quarter. Thornton's injury was serious enough to prevent him from continuing the game.
