Oracle Corp. shares climbed as much as 8.6% to an intraday record of $228 on Monday after the software group disclosed new multibillion-dollar cloud contracts, including one expected to generate more than $30 billion in annual revenue beginning in fiscal 2028.
In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Chief Executive Officer Safra Catz said the company has signed "multiple large cloud services agreements" and that multicloud database revenue is growing at over 100%. The new business does not alter Oracle’s guidance for fiscal 2026, according to the filing.
The deal would dwarf the company’s existing cloud scale: Oracle reported $24.5 billion in cloud services revenue and $57.4 billion in total revenue for the fiscal year ended May 31. The stock has gained about 33% over the past month as investors bet that expanding cloud demand and artificial-intelligence workloads will accelerate growth.
