Premier League clubs are set to vote on the future of VAR this week, with a new poll indicating that younger supporters are more in favor of keeping the system. Despite mixed opinions among fans, with nearly half supporting its retention if used more sparingly and decisions reached more quickly, the technology is expected to remain in place next season. A survey by YouGov revealed that close to nine in ten Premier League viewers say it should be changed or scrapped entirely, with 64% preferring to keep VAR but with changes, 22% wanting it scrapped entirely, and 10% supporting it as is. The Premier League has proposed improvements to the system to address concerns. The vote will take place on Thursday at the Premier League's annual general meeting, where clubs are expected to support the continuation of VAR.
