Among the players on the list are two Americans: Diego Kochen, a goalkeeper for Barcelona, and Cruz Medina, an attacking midfielder for the San Jose Earthquakes. The list includes players born in 2006 and is considered a showcase of the best young talent in the sport. Kochen has already been included in Barcelona's UEFA Champions League squad, while Medina was named in the Best XI for the 2023 CONCACAF U17 Championship.
