Bay FC has made a significant defensive signing by acquiring Caprice Dydasco from Houston. This move reflects the club's focus on bolstering its defensive lineup. Dydasco's skill and comfort on the ball have been highlighted, emphasizing her value to the team. Meanwhile, Portland Timbers is parting ways with forward Jaroslaw Niezgoda, opening up a Designated Player spot, and considering negotiations with Sebastian Blanco for a reduced salary and role.

"I donโt think youโll find a fullback and a defender more comfortable on the ball than Caprice.โ We're seeing the kind of players Bay FC values, like 2021 NWSL defender of the year Caprice Dydasco | @sfchronicle https://t.co/VRmha9s0DV
Caprice Dydasco is a good get for Bay FC. As a side note, I do like to see a club focus on defensive signings first. There's so many moving pieces and of course it doesn't guarantee stability, but it feels...sensible? I mean conversely if you can get a Macario sign her asap lol
And now comes Bay FC's first free-agency announcement: Fullback Caprice Dydasco. #NWSL https://t.co/og86QnmIF0
