FULL TIME WOLVES 1-1 VILLA Some handbags between O'Neil and Emery after the final whistle very much in keeping with the game. #WWFC https://t.co/xaTAs77Z9x
FT: Wolves 1-1 #AVFC Stop-start & Villa only had momentum at the end. John McGinn understandably unhappy with the referee who played his part in the flow of the game, but captain's frustration summed up the display. But a solid point given Molineux record & the packed schedule.
Goal Wolves. Hwang Hee-chan. 1-0 Luiz gives the ball away sloppily and #AVFC done on transition. Kamara on a booking and can't make the tackle, before Torres gets beaten for pace by Neto. Hwang taps in from close range.
First chance for #AVFC and it's a good one. Villa transition from a back six when Wolves had the ball inside the attacking half, with McGinn driving inside and whipping a cross to the back post for Cash. Cash hits a first-time volley, but is saved well by Sa.
Emery has his palms open, asking why #AVFC are rushing. As he often does, he's shouting for calm - wants Villa to keep building through the thirds, but the game has started to become frustrating. Can Villa just win a midweek game, please
HT: #AVFC 0-0 HSK Zrinjski Villa started well but then struggled to go through gears. McGinn trying to drive with the ball and Zaniolo has been positive but Villa need to start pulling Zrinjski's back five around/ out of shape again. Refereeing has been pretty all over the place
