Several restaurants in San Francisco and other cities are closing their doors permanently after varying periods of operation. Birch & Rye, a Russian restaurant in San Francisco, is shutting down after two years. Wayfare Tavern in Downtown San Francisco is relocating, while Barrio Cafe in Phoenix and Lovers Pizzeria in San Antonio are also closing. The Presidio Social Club, known for brunch, is closing due to difficult negotiations with the landlord and high operating costs.
