Howdy Bagel, a popular Tacoma bagel shop, is set to reopen on Wednesday, about a month after one of the co-founders was shot and killed while on vacation in New Orleans. The shop's co-founder, who is reopening the shop, expressed the emotional difficulty of moving forward without the deceased co-founder. This comes after the closure of Brazos Bagel shop near the Heights, less than a week after a successful debut. The OG Cannabis Café at 1201 N. La Brea Ave. in West Hollywood has also resumed service after closing in 2020.
