SpaceX is targeting December 28 for the launch of the U.S. military's X-37B robot spaceplane on its seventh mission to orbit. The Dragon cargo spacecraft, after a one-month stay at the International Space Station, successfully undocked on December 21, carrying over 4,300 pounds of scientific cargo back to Earth. The Cygnus spacecraft, which arrived at the Space Station four months ago, departed on December 22. Additionally, SpaceX launched 23 Starlink satellites to low-Earth orbit from Florida on December 18 and December 22, setting a new record for the 19th flight of B1058, a Falcon 9 rocket.
This morning’s Falcon 9 launch of 23 Starlink satellites from Florida was the 19th flight for B1058, a new record. In the eight years since the company first propulsively recovered an orbital class rocket, no one else has done so even once. SpaceX has done it over 250 times. https://t.co/ykJZNQvTQp
