Years after his release in a double murder case, Larry Dean Ridge Jr., a 44-year-old convicted killer recently out of prison, was charged with violently attacking and raping a stranger as she was walking home from the North Concord BART station on Monday evening. Concord police arrested Ridge on a train at the station. The Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office has charged him with a three-count felony complaint including forcible rape, assault, and second-degree robbery. This incident occurs just two weeks after Ridge was arrested for another sexual assault.
