Jesse Hernandez of Los Angeles was sentenced to 30 months in prison for defrauding three businesses with his fake experimental truck company, following an FBI Boston investigation. In a separate case, a Livermore man, who worked as an IT director, pleaded guilty to stealing more than 100 Apple MacBooks valued at over $500,000 from his Redwood City employer. He subsequently sold the laptops for approximately $535,000.
