Patrick Bailey, a catcher for the San Francisco Giants, was injured during a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers when he took a foul ball off his right hand. Fortunately, X-Rays were negative, and he is expected to only need a few days off for the swelling to go down. Despite the injury, there are no indications that it will keep Bailey out for a significant amount of time. The Giants also faced the challenge of Shohei Ohtani being in the Dodgers' lineup for the first time.
