World Rugby will be trialling changes to the Television Match Official (TMO) protocol during key competitions in July, including the Wales-Springboks and Fiji-Barbarians games this weekend. The TMO will now have the authority to intervene and highlight clear infringements in the final passage of play to the referee, such as knock-ons and forward passes.
