MLS Property Information Network (MLS PIN) has urged a district court to reject the Department of Justice's (DOJ) arguments against a settlement with homeseller plaintiffs in the Nosalek antitrust commission case. On Monday, MLS PIN requested Judge Patti B. Saris of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts to approve the settlement, arguing that the DOJ's proposed total ban on certain practices is unwarranted. MLS PIN maintains that the multiple listing services (MLSs) remain valuable tools even after the National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement.
