The NASCAR Hall of Fame in Chicago unveiled a new exhibit celebrating the inaugural Chicago Street Race. The display includes the uniform and shoes worn by Chicago winner Shane van Gisbergen. Julie Giese and Shane van Gisbergen were involved in unveiling the exhibit, with Giese engaging in community visits to promote the upcoming race in Chicago.

Julie Giese is again making visits to neighborhoods in Chicago to educate/ excite about NASCAR street race. There were a lot of questions last year about how the race would be put on whereas this year they’re asking about “SVG.” Giese says he definitely has a fan base there now.
