Ryan Blaney, the NASCAR Cup champion, was awarded the Goodyear Gold Car by Goodyear CEO Rich Kramer at the NASCAR awards ceremony in Nashville. The car, handmade and detailed like the champion's car, was admired by Blaney and his team, Team Penske, including tire specialist Dave Nichols. Goodyear CEO Rich Kramer was also honored with the Bill France Award of Excellence at the ceremony, coinciding with NASCAR's 75th and Goodyear's 125th anniversary.
