In a dramatic turn of events during the final lap of the race at Texas, Ross Chastain experienced a significant setback. Initially in contention for a top-three finish, Chastain's race concluded with a crash, ultimately placing him at P32. The incident involved contact with Reddick and later, a notable contact between Byron (No. 24) and Chastain (No. 1), which, according to sources, was not deemed intentional. Despite the unfortunate outcome, Chastain opted not to comment on the situation following his evaluation at the infield care center.
I wonder if Chastain would have handled Byron's block at the end of the Daytona 500 differently after today. #NASCAR https://t.co/6CST0KGyRw
Ross Chastain politely declined comment after leaving the infield care center.

Don't think that contact between Byron and Chastain on the final lap was intentional at all. Close margins on the final lap and the No. 24 didn't expect the No. 1 to slow up that much. But it sucks... @RossChastain was P2, finishes P32.
Ross Chastain is suddenly in the picture going for P3 and ohhhh! Did he just have contact with Reddick?
