The US Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves, has refused to disclose the names of "five or six" individuals involved in the decision not to prosecute Hunter Biden. Graves, who was appointed by President Biden, denied allegations that he blocked charges against Hunter Biden. He testified that David Weiss, another prosecutor, would have needed approval from the Department of Justice (DOJ) tax division to pursue tax charges against Hunter Biden. Graves also defended his choice not to recuse himself from the case, despite having worked for Joe Biden's presidential campaign and making donations to the campaign.
