Recent discussions and segments have highlighted how support and aid for Ukraine amid its conflict with Russia are bolstering the American defense industrial base and creating jobs across the United States. Experts and representatives, including Jen Griffin, Mike Quigley, and OlgaNYC1211, emphasized that the financial assistance provided to Ukraine is not only aiding in its defense against Russia but also significantly benefiting the U.S. economy. Specifically, nearly $40 Billion in foreign aid allocated for Ukraine is being directed towards American factories in various locations, including Lima, OH, and Scranton, PA. This investment is seen as an enhancement of both the U.S. defense capabilities and the American job market.
2/3 or nearly $40 Billion in foreign aid for Ukraine would actually go to American factories spread out across our country. This includes plants from Lima, OH, to Scranton, PA. What America makes and grows, makes and grows America while helping our allies. https://t.co/SPlCyDN7W1

Aid to Ukraine is not a blank check. Most of the money directly supporting Ukraine is spent not abroad, but here in the United States. Our assistance is an investment in our own defense.
